Across the Street
The needs in our community are many. That is why families gather monthly in our Welcome Center to pack weekend meals for kidsPACK USA to distribute to children who may not have food otherwise. Our Children's Clothes Closet serves nearly 2,000 children annually. Food collected throughout the year supports local food pantries. The Tuesday Tigers volunteer carpentry ministry helps residents in our community with building projects and the installation of wheelchair-accessible ramps for those who cannot afford them.
Around the World
People near and far desperately need the hope that Jesus Christ brings. We support the disaster relief efforts of the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Mission teams have traveled to Bulgaria, Cuba and Haiti to help with building projects and research future partnerships that enrich lives and end the cycle of poverty. We recently started supporting the work of the United Methodist Church’s Microfinance Initiative, in addition to our ongoing support of Imagine No Malaria, ZOE Ministries and Beacon of Hope in Nairobi, Kenya.
