Director of Facilities

The Director of Facilities at First United Methodist Church is a pivotal leadership role that encompasses the direction, oversight, and comprehensive management of the church’s campus facilities, equipment, and vehicles. This position demands adherence to the established standards set by the Board of Trustees and senior staff and a commitment to upholding the Staff Social Covenant and church policies.

The role involves managing a dynamic team and coordinating various events and activities across a large campus. The Director is responsible for the comprehensive management of the church’s facilities, ensuring that all aspects of the campus support the church’s mission and vision. This position requires exceptional managerial skills to provide a centralized and coordinated focus for facilities management. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capacity to handle a high degree of responsibility and complexity in a fast-paced environment.

Church Administrator

This position, along with the church’s appointed Pastors, is a part of the Executive Leadership team and has three main responsibilities including controller, human resource manager and operations manager, requiring bachelor or higher degree in accounting with emphasis in non-profit accounting and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in administrative management with competency in financial, property, information management, analysis and leadership. Organizational, problem-solving and communication skills required.

Children's Ministries Worker

As a Children’s Ministries Worker, your primary role will be to offer reliable and nurturing care to children from 6 weeks old to 5th grade. You will ensure a clean, age-appropriate, safe, and welcoming environment where kids can explore, play, and learn. Children's Ministries Assistant

Provides administrative and ministry support to Director of Children’s Ministries. Provides front line contact with congregation and community individuals requiring active problem solving, effective interpersonal skills and appropriate response and handling sensitive and confidential issues.

Lead Teacher – First Steps Preschool

First Steps Preschool at First United Methodist Church has an opening for a full-time Lead Teacher. A Lead Teacher plays a leading role in planning, teaching, and organizing age-appropriate classroom activities and is responsible for total classroom operation.
