Parent Cue has a wealth of info on a variety of topics, including tips on parenting at various stages. The search box is super helpful in finding resources for the topics you care about.

Youth Parent Connect Nights
Parent Connect is a time for parents to explore and engage in conversation on important topics in parenting today. We have presentations from subject matter experts, and ample time for questions and conversation. We meet once monthly, generally on the second Sunday.
5-5:30pm - Dinner with Youth in the F Building Cafe
5:30-7pm - Parent Connect in C-207 (Above the Bookstore, at the top of the stairs)

Youth Parent Social Nights
Once a month, we have an informal time of connection and socializing for parents of teens.
Generally on the third Sunday of the month, 5-15-6:45pm.

Each month, there is a new Parent Resource Page available. It includes helpful articles and parenting videos.
Note that the Parent Page resource is curated by an agency outside of First UMC Lakeland. Occasionally you may encounter material you have questions about. Please reach out to the youth and adult ministry teams to talk through any topics or content about which you have concerns or questions. We often have other resources available, including our Parent Connect Nights, to provide additional perspectives on various topics. We are here to support you in your calling as a parent.
