The mission of Neighborhood Ministries is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the community by providing a safe, recreational and spiritual experience for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Programs Offered



Helpful Information
NHM is a program offered to families at no cost. The program is funded by grants and the generosity of the members of First United Methodist Church.
Our school pickup list varies. We serve schools in our closest proximity with the greatest need. As enrollment changes, our bus schedule may change from year to year. For a list of our current schools, contact our office at 863-686-0855.
*Arrival 4:10pm: Play/Free Time
4:10-4:30pm: Snack/HW
4:30-4:55pm: **Programming
5:00-5:15pm: Dismissal
*Students riding the bus arrive between 3 – 3:45pm. (Students walking or getting dropped off will need to arrive between 2:15-3:45pm. After 3:45pm doors will remain locked for the remainder of programming and a phone call to the office is required to enter the building.)
**Programming may include: Life Skills, Chapel, Indoor/Outdoor Activities, Community Service, Free Play/Time, Boys/Girls Groups, and tutoring.
12:30-1pm: Students Picked Up From School
1-1:30pm: Meal
1:30-3pm: Games / Movies/ Free Time
3-4pm: Snack
4-5pm: Daily Programming
5-5:15pm: Dismissal
