“Thy Will Be Done” Devotional Guide
Monday: Read Mark 14:32. Jesus chooses a quiet place to pray. Consider the importance of finding a space in your life where you can connect with God. Ask God to help you identify and create your own “garden” for prayer and reflection.
Tuesday: Read Mark 14:33. Jesus expresses profound sorrow. Reflect on the times you’ve felt overwhelmed and how you turned to God in those moments. Bring your own sorrows to God, asking for comfort and strength in times of distress.
Wednesday: Read Mark 14:34-35. Jesus asks His disciples to stay awake and pray. Consider the significance of prayer in times of trial. Commit to praying for specific challenges you or others are facing. Ask for vigilance in prayer.
Thursday: Read Mark 14:36. Jesus models submission, saying, “Not what I will, but what you will.” Reflect on areas in your life where you struggle to surrender. Pray for the courage to submit to God’s will, even when it challenges your desires.
Friday: Mark 14:37-42. Jesus finds His disciples sleeping. Consider how easy it is to become spiritually complacent. Ask God to awaken your spirit and help you remain vigilant in your faith journey.
