Weekly Scripture Passage: Matthew 25:1-13

Monday: In this parable, Jesus tells the story of ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. Five are wise and prepared with extra oil, while five are foolish and unprepared. When the bridegroom arrives, the foolish virgins miss the opportunity to enter the wedding feast. This passage teaches us about the importance of spiritual readiness and the consequences of procrastination. Can you think of specific actions or habits that help you maintain spiritual readiness?

Tuesday: Have you ever experienced a time when procrastination affected your spiritual life? What happened? How does the parable challenge the common tendency to delay important spiritual decisions?

Wednesday: In what ways can we support one another in staying spiritually vigilant? How important is it to have accountability partners in our faith journey, and how can we cultivate those relationships?

Thursday: Reflect on the “oil” in your life. What are the essential practices (prayer, scripture reading, service) that fuel your spiritual journey? Are there areas in your life where you feel unprepared or complacent? How can you take steps to address these areas?

Friday: What is one practical step you can take this week to help you grow in your faith? Share with others how you plan to implement this step and how they can pray for you.
