Monday: Read John 20:1. Mary Magdalene discovers the empty tomb. Reflect on what the empty tomb symbolizes for you—hope, new beginnings, or a challenge to your beliefs. Ask God to open your eyes to new possibilities in your life.
Tuesday: Read John 20:2-10. Mary runs to tell the disciples. Think about how you seek answers in times of confusion. Pray for the courage to seek answers and for clarity in understanding God’s will.
Wednesday: Read John 20:11-13. Mary encounters two angels. Reflect on how God communicates with you in your struggles. Are you attentive to his voice? Ask God to help you recognize his presence in your life, especially during difficult times.
Thursday: Read John 20:14-16. Jesus appears to Mary. Consider the personal nature of Jesus’ resurrection. How does knowing he seeks you personally impact your faith? Thank Jesus for pursuing you and ask for a deeper relationship with him.
Friday: Read John 20:17-18. Jesus commissions Mary to share the good news. Reflect on your role in sharing the gospel. How can you be a witness to others? Commit to taking action in sharing your faith and pray for opportunities to do so.
