Seeking the Savior Devotional Guide
Monday: Read John 12:20. Reflect on who the Greeks were and what their desire to see Jesus signifies about the universal appeal of Christ. Consider who in your life is seeking him. Think about your own journey of seeking Christ. What does it mean to truly seek him?
Tuesday: Read John 12:21. The Greeks approached Philip with a request. Reflect on the importance of asking questions in faith and being open to guidance. Are there questions you need to bring to God? How can you seek answers with an open heart?
Wednesday: Read John 12:22. Philip didn’t respond alone; he went to Andrew. Reflect on the importance of community in our faith journey and seeking Christ together. Who are the people in your life that help you seek Jesus? Consider reaching out to them this week.
Thursday: Read John 12:21-22. The request to see Jesus is an invitation to a deeper relationship. Reflect on how you can cultivate a more profound encounter with Christ in your daily life. What steps can you take to be more intentional about seeking and experiencing Jesus?
Friday: Read John 12:20-22. Consider how you can respond to the call to see and know Jesus more intimately. What changes might you need to make? In what ways can you actively pursue a closer relationship with Christ this week?
Prayer: Eternal God, thank you for the invitation to seek you and to know you more deeply. Help us, like the seekers in John 12, to approach you with open hearts and minds. May we not only seek answers but also cultivate relationships within our community that draw us closer to you. Guide us as we pursue a deeper understanding of your love and grace in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
