From Heart to Hand Devotional Guide
Weekly Text: Galatians 6:9-10
Monday: Consider the challenges that can lead to weariness in doing good. What specific situations in your life test your perseverance? What does “growing weary” look like in your own life? Can you identify a time when you felt like giving up? How did you overcome that feeling?
Tuesday: Reflect on the concept of a “harvest.” What does it mean to you spiritually and practically? What kind of “harvest” do you hope to see as a result of your good deeds? How can you maintain hope for the future, especially when immediate results are not visible?
Wednesday: Think about the importance of community in your life. How can you serve others in your faith community? Who in your life needs an act of kindness right now? What are some practical ways you can do good to those in your community?
Thursday: Consider how small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect. How might your actions inspire others? Have you ever witnessed a small act of kindness create a larger impact? Share your experience. How can you be intentional about spreading kindness in your daily life?
Friday: Take time to reflect on your week. How have you applied the principles from Galatians 6:9-10 in your life? What changes have you noticed in yourself as you’ve focused on doing good? How can you encourage others to join you in acts of kindness?
Prayer: Eternal God, thank you for the reminder to persevere in doing good. Help us to remain steadfast in our efforts to serve others, especially within our faith community. May our actions reflect your love and grace, creating a ripple effect of kindness and compassion. Strengthen us when we feel weary, and open our eyes to the opportunities to do good around us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
