If you are a prospective college student or a family member of someone who may choose to further their education after high school, you don’t want to miss out on this free event on Saturday, October 21, from 8:30am – 12:45pm in the Fellowship Center. Senior officials from both public and private schools will present and resources will be available to answer questions throughout the morning.

High school students: While it may seem like forever until you finish high school, chances are it will go by faster than you expect. Learn what your options are after graduation at this free event created specifically with you in mind.

Parents: It is never too early or too late to learn about factors to consider when making these important choices. You may be living in a world of midnight feedings and diaper changes or you might be wishing time could slow down a bit as you prepare to guide your child through the season of college applications. Regardless of which end of the spectrum you find yourself on, this seminar is for you.

What you will learn about the finances of college choice: What are the best ways to save for college? How can you minimize college debt? What are the best sources of financial aid?

What you will learn about the college selection process: Public versus private schools, in-state and out-of-state choices, religious and social culture on campuses and graduation rates are just a few of the criteria to keep in mind when deciding whether or not a particular college is a good fit.
