Who:  Children with families at the shelter & transitional housing
need someone to pay attention to them, Ages 2 - 14

What: 
Simple things Listening, interacting, doing puzzles, playing
board games, reading, outdoor activities

When: 
Beginning Thursday, June 10 for 6 weeks  -- choose one or more to attend!

ReCreation Experiences Mission Trip
June 12 – 19, 2010

Who:  Working on the facility that is the home base (lodging) for
youth groups that serve the ReCreation Mission Projects. 

What:
 
Repair work at the ReCreation facility
(e.g. plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
When:
  June 12th thru June 19th,  2010
Where
:  Weaverville, NC
Cost:
$100 (Scholarships available on request)

Who:  Participants, helpers, sponsors raise funds for all these great mission projects, and more!

  Participate in a foursome OR assist with the tournament OR be a sponsor.

Sorting, packing items donated to UMCOR – health kits, school kits, birthing kits, flood cleaning supply kits.

NATIONAL MISSION TRIPS

  
Yearly trip to ReCreation Ministries in Weaverville, NC where our teams repair a lodging center for mission teams to stay.  Trips to assist in the recovery and rebuilding of communities outside of Florida after disasters.  Disaster Recovery trips in Florida, as requested.  UMCOR Sager Brown Depot in Baldwin, LA to receive, sort and ship disaster relief supplies around the world.
