ReCreation Experiences Missieon Trip

Join
our adult team going to ReCreation Experiences in Weaverville, NC July
16-23, 2011 and make a difference! FUMC is sending a youth team and an
adult team. Adults will continue refurbishing work for the converted
school building used to house teams when they travel there to
participate in a Home Repair Mission experience in the surrounding
area. Teams come from around the U.S. February - July to provide home
maintenance for needy people. The schoolhouse used to house teams has
been converted to sleeping, dining, office, and fellowship space. Many
areas still need work. Come swing a hammer, run a saw, or be a gopher
with our adult team to share your skills and faith in this continuing
commitment.

Brown Mission Trip
Trip dates are August 20 – 27, 2011
to the UMCOR Depot in Baldwin, LA. Missioners will prepare items
UMCOR uses during disasters.
