Children's Clothes
Closet
The Children's Clothes Closet provides clothing to "at risk" children aged
birth through high school. Over 2,000 children were served in 2006.
The children are being served by social workers from such agencies as Peace
River Center, Gulf Coast Community Center and the Children's Home Society.
The funding is provided by our congregation and by the First United
Methodist Church unit of the United Methodist Women. Donations of
gently used clothing and other items are sorted and prepared by volunteers.
