Altar Flowers for Worship Services

Thursday, December 15, 2016 · Home Page, Worship

The fresh flowers placed on our altars each Sunday beautify the sacred spaces of our church to honor God and are a gift to those who attend our services. Afterward, arrangements are made from those flowers and delivered to members & friends who are hospitalized. The altar flowers can be dedicated to commemorate a special event, such as birthday or anniversary, or to remember a loved one for a donation of $45.00 per dedication. Please contact Lea Ellen, 863-686-3163 or email at to reserve your date(s). Click here to download the order form.

Please note: there will be no flowers on Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday or the two Sundays closest to Christmas. For these Sundays, dedications will be open to the entire congregation by separate reservation.

Below is the video of Dr. Kevin Hull’s presentation at our Fall FamilyLink event. He shared with parents “How to talk to your kids about scary stuff.”

It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the church or a long-time attendee, you’re invited to this informal and interactive gathering on Sunday, April 23, in C-201D (the Wesley Center). Participants will have the opportunity to explore our church in a friendly and fun environment, meet members of the church staff and ask questions about different departments. Bring the whole family. Check in at 4:45, and the session will be from 5-6:30pm. Call Diana at 863-686-3163 to register or register online here.

Our next session of Coffee with the Pastors is scheduled for Sunday, May 7, from 5-6:30pm in the Administrative Office Large Conference Room. In this casual time together, you’ll learn more about the church, get to know our pastors and review expectations regarding membership. New members will be received May 21. Childcare is provided by advance registration. Call Diana at 863-686-3163 to register or register here.
