From our earliest roots of Methodism, Christians were seen in small groups encouraging one another in the Faith and growing in knowledge of the Holy Scriptures and applying them to every day life.

Christian education has always been a priority at First United Methodist Church.  The way to create a "small church" atmosphere in a large church is by joining a small group.  Our congregation is packed with opportunities to learn about and experience the good news of Jesus Christ through small groups.

There are adult Sunday School classes available for every person, children, youth, young adult, and adult.  26 classes in all!  There are many more opportunities for Christian education BEYOND Sunday School.  Look at our pages for children, youth, and adults for dozens of choices.
