Homebuilders Sunday
School Class
The Homebuilders Sunday School Class has been meeting since 1945.
The motto is, "We do not seek to bring Christ down to our level, but to
bring us up to Christ's level." Their inspiring leader, Dr. Bill
Roughton, a retired minister has taught the class for the past 11 years.
The class uses the Adult Bible Studies Uniform Series exclusively as the
curriculum. In Dr. Roughton's lectures and class discussions,
personal experiences are combined with humor. The class project is
a scholarship fund that was started in 1974 to assist needy students
attending Florida Southern College. Special contributions are made
to the Salvation Army, Kairos Prison Ministry, Talbot House and others.
This class meets
in the CHAPEL.
